Adult Sailing

Join us for the 2026 season as we celebrate 15 years of MC Scow racing at the Oconomowoc Lake Club, where our fleet embraces the joy of time on the water and the lifelong sport of sailing, a tradition rooted in the Club’s history since 1890. We welcome members interested in sailing and/or judging to be part of the action. It’s a great way to get on the lake, meet fellow members, and enjoy some friendly competition. Races are held twice a week (both optional), and the fun continues afterward at Dockside with food, drinks, and good company. Interested sailors are invited to join a boat for Tuesday races, while spectators can hop aboard the judges’ boat to watch, learn, and even try their hand at judging. Come experience the camaraderie and excitement of MC Scow racing at OLC.

Adult Group Sailing Lessons

This season, we are once again offering Adult group sailing lessons, in addition to private instruction, designed to teach the fundamentals of sailing through a combination of classroom learning and hands-on time on the water. Our goal is to build skills and confidence while preparing participants to eventually join the weekly fleet races. Lessons will be led by our own Club MC, with additional on-the-water training available in youth Opti boats when appropriate. Scheduling will be based on demand to create a plan that works best for the group.
